Battambang city is a province in northwestern Cambodia. It is the fifth most populous province in the land area, Battambang is the fifth largest province of religion. The city is accessible by roads, and by boat via the Sangkae River from Siem Reap, by overland National Highway 5 runs straight through the province. Both the airport and railway lines are not in use but contact private taxi, buses make a 5-6 hour journey from Phnom Penh and the 3-4 hour journey from Angkor Siem Reap city, almost hourly. Attractions are a partly collapsed 11th-century temple 11km north of Battambang city, west Phnom Sampov is a striking limestone mountain, to the south Phnom Banan Mountain. Adapts the architecture of the mid 11th century and the end of 12th century the temple, Bamboo Train" originally conceived as a logistical fix during the United Nations Transitional Authority of Cambodia period, the original “bamboo train” was a lorry, French colonial-style buildings, an ancient village of Wat Koh.
