Itinerary (2 Days)
Day1- Phnom Penh - Battambang Trip.
Kampong Loung Floating Village, Oudong Mountain, Pottery Village, We start at 8:00 am, Visit local attractions, Visit the magnificent Oudong, it was the site of the royal capital from the 17th to the 19th of country. Oudong Mountain has a series of temples and stupas in the picturesque scenery. Its height gives the most amazing views of the Cambodian plains, with the city of Phnom Penh on the horizon. We will spend about 2 hours exploring the complex and the other 2 hours in pottery places in Kampong Chhnang Province, visiting the remote village in Kampong Chhnang art Adong Rousey about 7 kilometers west of Kampong Chhnang city.
Kampong Loung Fishing community on Tonle Sap Lake, Kampong Loung is the largest floating on Tonle Sap at the southern of the largest lake in Asia, Visitors able to hire a boat from local people to explore the floating fishing community in fishing villages around an hour or two hours then heading to the hotel in Battambang city to end for a day trip.
Day2- Tours Around Battambang City.
Bamboo Train Experince Ride, Battambang's beloved “bamboo train” where tourists discover and experience in the local style that the improvised rail vehicles, often consisting of a small motor and a bamboo platform on wheels, was a thrilling ride through the countryside, and a cottage industry sprang up just outside the city.
Don Teav's Rice Paper Village, We visit local activities of villagers do their work for daily life for a living, which products rice paper for developing of spring rolls, next visiting largest Killing field at Wat Samrong Knong Pagoda, this place where, today houses the gorgeous main pagoda and a mish-mash of ancient ruins, glittery modern structures, and memorials to those who perished here in the complex.
Wat Koh Ancient Houses, We visit a village where the main number of every old house over 100 years which owned by families at Wat Koh villages located southern of Battambang city, may time allow visiting a ruin of Bannon temple on the hilltop with fantastic landscape surrounding.
Wat Banan is the best-preserved of the Khmer temples in Battambang Province. The distinctive five towers of the temple are similar to the much larger and more famous temple of Angkor Wat. At the base of the mountain with a step laterite staircase flanked by nagas.
Phnom SamPeou - Killing Cave - Hill Top View. We visit the Phnom Sampeou mountain top view and killing caves with a natural the site located along National Road 57 in Sampeou Commune, Battambang district, about 12Kilometers from Battambang city. Atop a 100-meter-high mountain stands a pagoda: Pkasla, Lakhaon, and Aksopheak. Phkasla cave is full of uprooted stones and is considered an important Mountain in Battambang. Phnom Sampeou means " Ship mountain " because its peculiar shape reminds of a ship. This legendary 100 meters high mountain, topped by Wat Sampeou, contains three natural caves, lined with Buddhist shrines and statues.
Bat's Cave, We sit and watching at every evening at very near to a specific time, thousands of nocturnal bats take flight from the surrounding caves in a massive formation of dark, black clouds until sunset then transfer to hotel in Battambang at the end of the trip for a day.
