Kampot City In Cambodia
Kampot is a city in southern Cambodia. Situated along the Preaek Tuek Chhu Riverside, and well known for its pepper plantations and salt fields. The center of town contains many buildings, which dated from the colonial period, including the Governor’s Mansion. The house is today the Kampot Museum, where has exhibits on the city’s history. The Preah Monivong Bokor National Park has a cool climate within forests, waterfalls, and wildlife including gibbons and big cats. Farther to the east Kep Beach, to the west, Koh Kong.
